Statement of Teaching Philosophy

We as people learn best when we are engaged, confident, and loved. I believe that the most important aspects of my teaching is building a strong sense of community in the classroom and keeping my students engaged in learning. When a child is interested in something, they never let it go. I plan on fostering a learning community that does not limit my children. I want to promote autonomy and build their identities by being aware of the needs of my students and being responsive to them.

                                                                                   -Ms. Robyn Hunter

“I believe the children are our future

Teach them well and let them lead the way

Show them all the beauty they possess inside

Give them a sense of pride to make it easier

Let the children's laughter remind us how we used to be…”
